Creating Barrel curls with BRICK WORK
·
Once you have rolled the top of the hair start
working from the sides so the shape is formed
·
When you get to the other side curl the tongs in
to the other direction
·
The back section is going to go in an upwards
direction
·
When you come to the front side sections curl
the curls inwards and up
·
WORK IN CLEAN SECTIONS
·
Using a PIN TAIL comb back comb the hair from
middle of length of hair, create your mess then push it down
·
Pack in the backcombing down to the route
·
Using the SMOOTHING OUT PADDLE BRUSH very
LIGHTLY smooth out the backcombing
·
DO NOT DO THIS HEAVILY AS YOU WILL LOOSE ALL THE
WORK YOU HAVE PUT IN TO BACKCOMBING HAIR
·
Pull hair to the left
·
Put WIG PINS in back of hair to hold side and
back sections up, cross pins over each other to hold in place
·
Put hand in and roll hair around to the left
·
Pin in to cross grips once you have manipulated
hair in to shape
·
WIG PIN hair into cross grips
·
Put on to hair then move out and push in to
crossed pins
·
Hair will stay put when backcombed well
·
When you have backcombed hair use SMOOTHING OUT
brush to smooth and shape
·
Hair stays out as you have used tongs
·
Keep back combing hair each time you come to a
section
·
Brush round head and manipulate into shape
·
Stand back and see what you could do to perfect
hair
·
DON’T smooth over strays etc. with hairspray
while you are creating the hair
·
Wait until you have finished to do this
