Hair Inspiration

I have been collecting images of hair that inspire me, or that I think would make a great silhouette. Here are a few pictures I think have great shape and or represent Miss Havisham and Decay/Cold.

This picture inspired me for an Estella look. The hair colour is rich and bold, two words I feel represent Estella's character very appropriately. The curls are very distinctive and have a lot of attitude to them, but at the same time are extremely feminine and beautiful. This look would work well for Estella.

I saw this picture and felt it represented the word Decay really well. The shape of the hair really inspired me to play around with this idea for my actual Miss Havisham assessment. My model Ayesha has very long hair so I think I would incorporate some matted dread locks at the bottom to give it a real decayed look.

This picture would make a great shape for a silhouette. The hair has been backcombed to create the texture.

I adore this picture. Although there isn't much going on with the actual hair I would find it interesting to see how the horn would work as a silhouette with the straight hair. What kind of shape would this create? Interesting!

I love this hair. To me, it has decay written all over it. The shape would look awesome as a silhouette, the hair falling down is as if it is dripping away from the head. Gorgeous piece of work!  

This doesn't relate to Miss Havisham or the words cool and decay but I would be interested to see what shapes this would create in a silhouette.

I adore this picture. The shape and texture is beautiful. I love how it has been structured and I also feel it has an element of the word Cool and Decay. This would create an awesome silhouette and at some point I would like to create this shape!!!
